Good analogy-I vaguely remember pouting, whining, misbehaving and pretending not to hear when told to stop it (which drove my mom nuts) for what seemed like months after my brother was born. I even asked her if he could be given to someone else, which did not go over well.

I don't think I've ever gone more than 8 months with only one dog (except when I lived in an apartment and couldn't have any) - but I've never had an older dog and then tried to bring in a puppy.

Sambuca was less than a year old when we got anisette. We've been doing our best to show anisette she is not out, well at least hubby and I are. Puppy is confined to laundry room, Sette is allowed to sleep in our room at night.

I'm actually less concerned about the dogs than I am about the blatant disobedience coming from jax. Loss of priveliges, which has always been terrible punishment for her, she doesn't care about. She got TV back Tuesday night - she lost it again last night, just when she was supposed to be getting her computer back, she didn't. And today was the day she was supposed to get use of the internet on my computer back - she's not going to.

I've been talking with the folks at the pre-school and they're not having any major problems with her - it's almost as if she becomes a different person around 6:30 every night.

wow! you remember? i am only 13 mo. older than xsbro, so i don't remember much. i liked him til he stopped letting me boss him around and wouldn't listen to me anymore. : (

xsteen gave me fits when xsboy was born. she was fine with him, but she became incredibly clingy and wouldn't let me out of her sight. sounds very much like what anisette is feelng. xsteen was 3 when her bro was born.

When my brother was born (i was 5 1/2) I saw him in the hospital nursery with all the other babies and asked if we could leave him there and take him 2 girls instead. He's 19 now and I still think that would've been a good idea.

well dang, honey, xsbrownie is 9 and xsboy almost 12 and they would put each others eyes out and pull every strand of hair outta their heads if i didn't knock their skulls together a la three stooges!

Every Friday night. No actually being a fan of the Female Human Leg, especially the calf, I love what heels do good. Which is accentuate the calf. Heels can be heck on a woman's toes but look at those calves. Anyway I know as a runner that at sprint speed my heels seldom make contact with the ground. On a distance run it's heel toe heel toe. Every time I sprained my ankle was heel toe heel toe twist.

i would blow my brains out if i did taxes for a living. i had to do my dad's estate tax for PA within the past few months, and i must say the people in Harrisburg were extremely nice for me to deal with. i would never have gotten such nice service in VA.

Oh, my! I'll bet that keeps you on your toes. I used to take great delight in stopping the mobile hanging over my brother's playpen from turning in the breeze, making him get bored and cry.

well i did throw a baseball at my bro's head and break his glasses when we were playing catch. i also once ran over him with my bike. heck, i haven't beaten up on him in years, i miss those days. mebbe bc i am 5'4" and he is 6'4".
