If you're a California resident, you have to run for Governor or they deport you to Canada.

Tenacity is often an admirable quality. But when one is tenacious about keeping their cranium rectally inserted, well that just aint cool. Recall the father/son demented duo who attacked an old man Kansas City Royal coach last year
The brilliant Judge Leo Holt let the old man (30-something yrs old, btw) off with time served, which amounted to 60 days the idiot had spent in County Jail. But that wasnt enough Holt felt the need to indicate baseball itself:
"Baseball is a microcosm of the society, and as such, has both the desirable and undesirable," Holt said. "The violence that ballplayers are exposed to comes from within.
"What fan has not seen a pitcher intentionally hurl a baseball at a player's head at 90 miles per hour?" the judge said. "Who has not seen a batter leave home plate headed for the pitcher's mound, bat in hand, bent on mischief and mayhem?"

I don't think anyone wants to run for Governor up here.

If you're a California resident, you have to run for Governor or they deport you to Canada. Isn't that cruel and unusaul punishment?
Psst... mail me an absentee ballot, I'll vote for ya.

I've never broken an ankle, but for some reason I have consistently done damage to the left one as opposed to the right one - I wonder if it subconcious!!!!!
I know that kids pester pets - but what is driving me insane her is absolute disobedience about picking up the puppy - total defiance even when sent to her room. She then lost her TV priveleges, again. It mattered not.
I don't know which is driving me more nuts, the child or the bad attitude of anisette - she does not like this puppy.

i feel bad for your troubles, gabz. i can sympathize with the kid not laying off the dog, but i don't know what to tell you to get anisette to bond with the baby dog. i have never had more than one dog at a time. i wish xs2pup were not so afraid of other dogs. i hope that puppy K in a few weeks will help with that.

Ah, the kiddo is testing her limits (and yours). The TV threat no longer works? Anisette's attitude will probably get better. That is what our vet told us when we brought the husky pup home, and our australian shephard acted like your older dog is doing. It took nearly a month, but eventually they started playing together, and haven't stopped since.

not at all unlike an older child having to adjust to a new sibling! it seems like hell when you are going thru it, but it clears up in no time, really.
