I think the puppy's whining has unsettled my girl - it didn't exactly help my sleeping last night!!!
Plus it kept escaping from the laundry room.

well maybe she will be ok tonight. our little guy just cried the first night. you know he has YET to bark. he does still whine when i clean his ears. you'd swear he was human the sounds he makes then!

I think the poor thing is lonely - she was the first of a litter of 10 puppies to leave. Annisette runs the other way when she approaches.

God, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who lives in a nearly empty house! The only furniture in the downstairs of our house is what is in that bedroom and the kitchen table and chairs. We want to make the sofas, and the top for the dining table (the iron base and chairs are in the garage), but we don't seem able to find the time.
I am going to put wood indoor shutters on the windows that face the road and next door neighbors, just because I've always wanted shutters.

We get up at 5:30 am here-hubby has to drive nearly 30 miles to work. Hope your puppy everyone else has a better night tonite-she just needs to settle in a bit and she will be fine.
