I noticed this item in particular under the posting guidelines:
Do keep "vanity" posts to a minimum - Free Republic is primarily a place to discuss news, articles, and editorials. Vanity posts, creations of the poster him or herself, should meet a high standard of quality before one is even considered worthy of posting. Often a relevant current thread or general announcement, catch-all thread is a much better choice for a brief question or comment.
Not gonna mention what the guidelines say about spam... ;~D

I was in the midst of my last response when the AM posted, so I went ahead. I also send a private note to the AM, asked him about vanities and if I could post 3-4 links to my website every day.
But no, Gooberhead won't realize the post was written first to him, then to use.

My sis came up with a Star Trek spoof, quite humorous but rather shall we say potty humor a bit, and the Futon Torpedos feature prominently.
I won't get into the whole genesis and germination of the futon torpedo, but her version of the Enterprise apparently looks like a space going butt.
My sister gets the strangest ideas...
You'd have to ask her abut the whole thing.
She'd probably FReepmail the whole story as it isn't fit for public consumption.
