The Hobbit Hole IV – The Road Goes Ever On…
Posted on 08/04/2003 9:43:18 AM PDT by HairOfTheDog
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
The Road Goes Ever On
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Aren't you glad you figured out about your shirt though? Don't you just hate it when you get somewhere and then find out your shirt is on wrong side out and backward? Yes, I do! It's bad enough when you go a bunch of places and then at some point someone (usually an older lady) taps you on the shoulder and informs you that your tag is sticking out in the back.
Inside out shirts are much worse!

HA!! I was coming into work one morning when a fellow worker pointed out to me that my scrub pants were on backwards!! the pockets were a dead givaway ... eeeeek! i needed a DOUBLE dose of coffee THAT morning! lol
To: proud_2_B_texasgal; Wneighbor
LOL!
But isn't putting stuff on backwards or inside out supposed to be lucky or something? I seem to remember something of the sort.

We'll be back home a week from tomorrow. Thanks for checking in! We would never have dreamt of nagging you for a report until your vacation was over!

Good morning!

No, here's what's bad ...
So, I'm running late on a Monday morning, and I pull my cardigan sweater out of the dryer. It's a chilly morning, and the sweater is hot, and it feels good.
I get to work, and am standing in a line in the most public hallway, waiting with a group of strangers to have my picture taken for a security badge. I grow a little too warm, and I pull my sweater off.
As I fold my sweater over my arm, the man behind me taps me politely on the shoulder and says, "You dropped something." I look down, and there is one of the Bear's socks, laying on the floor. It apparently had been up the sleeve of the sweater, and when I pulled my arm out, the sock came with it.
All I could think of were the various pieces of underwear that had been in the dryer at the same time, that might have fallen out of my sleeve ... I shill shake about what might have been lying on the floor when I looked down!

Good morning everyone!
Hey, Hair...I did what you suggested and downloaded ALL the updates from that link you gave me. Now my computer is really clipping! Everything seems to be going faster...is that what updates do?
Now I have my computer set to let me know when updates are available. Now...should I run my disk defragmenter?
Whatever, I'm thrilled. Something tried to send me a "trojan" overnight and my firewall stopped it.
I'm having my first cup of coffee!

I think putting your shirt on inside out usually means you got lucky already! Only if it's the same shirt you wore yesterday...
P.S. Ruthy is in her interview RIGHT NOW!
To: Corin Stormhands
Oh, I hope this goes well for her...
