Here are the instructions for the FREE removal tool from Symantec. You don't have to scan for a virus (and have the latest updates) if you already know what you have. This is a freebie. After the virus is removed, buy a good antivirus, and keep it updated.

OUCH! I hope he's exaggerating a bit about the pain, WN. That does NOT sound pleasant at all! *Shudder*
I'm still waiting for before and after pics, BTW!

Pinging 2J to your message - she was the one who needed it, though she probably doesn't anymore. I have up to date McAfee and have patched my home and work computer. Now we're trying to figure out an easy way to patch allll the network PCs.

I'm still waiting for before and after pics, BTW! Ruthy, before I can get you before and after pics I would have to find someone to take the photographs. I don't got a whole lot of options right here for that. I'll work on it. But, I ain't walkin' into my boss' office and sayin' "Hey Gene, take this digital camera and let me drop my jeans so you can photograph my butt" NOPE. Ain't happenin' Ruthy.
And, far as the pain, I don't think that guy has a clue how much pain I've been in from time to time over the last few months. Driving my truck long makes the pain flare up bad, so driving to stay with Grama in the hospital - then spending 4 nights in a row sitting in a chair - then driving 4-1/2 hours back home was making life hell on these particular problems.

It's a very embarrassing tale, best told over 3 or more pints. Long story short - one of the websites I "borrowed" a breakfast pic from decided to punish me by changing the image from food to a VERY LARGE image of a woman's backside in a vulgar position.
