The Hobbit Hole IV – The Road Goes Ever On…
Posted on 08/04/2003 9:43:18 AM PDT by HairOfTheDog
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
The Road Goes Ever On
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

I'm working on the update downloads you referred me to last night...
Joshua just got up and is munching a granola bar in my lap. When Matthew gets up, I'll run down to Walmart. I needed some vacuum cleaner bags anyway! LOL

Good morning! Thank You so much.

I'm just waiting for the mail, then we're off to walmart. I got the garden watered and Matthew fed the chickens.
There was rabbit in the garden eating a peanut plant. Sigh. Poor thing looked skin and bones...I let it eat for a while before shoo-ing it. Probably a mistake, but oh well.

He is cute and rides a great Harley! Sounds intriguing! < insert Hair's popcorn munching gif here >
So, today, I even liked him better.

We began talking about personal stuff. The cute nice doctor has a wife. *sigh* Oh well, anyway, it's nice to see other people who happily have mates.
The good news is he gave me a diagnosis and treatment for my hip and knee and say's we can get this to a point where it won't come back soon.
WOW! I might just fall in love with the guy anyway if he can make me stop hurting! Imagine! All these years I thought I just had arthritis coming on!

Woo-hoo! Phone guy is back from vacation! I see a call in my future, though maybe not until later this week. Kewl.

That's great news about the knee and hip, WN!OH man Ruthy! I can't tell you how much better I feel RIGHT now compared to how it's been. And I can definitely handle maintenance on this! Very important with rehab type stuff. He did blatantly tell me that I will hurt a lot later today and especially tomorrow morning.... and I have another session tomorrow afternoon. I said, "Don't worry, I can handle pain." He said, "No I mean you are really going to hurt bad."
Not so great about the wife, but oh well!
Yeah, but you know it is really great to hear people talk who are just long term happily married. Refreshing so to speak. And who knows, could be that there is someone else out there who is decent single and of an appropriate age.
I dunno, maybe??
Oh! and he really liked my tattoos. I'm so glad you talked me through going ahead and getting mine finished. I am getting really excited about it!

Poor bunnies! < insert Elmer Fudd singing "Kill the wabbit!" to the theme of Valkyries here >LOL. I have several recordings of the Ride.
Funny story time. I have the back yard pretty well barricaded against the bunnies. A few weeks ago, however, one bunny got into the yard while I was outside with my dog. My dog, being a hunting dog, saw the bunny and started chasing it all around. She cornered is, then wasn't sure what to do about it.
The bunny took action first. It hissed, then jumped right into Chelsea's face, and took off running again. I burst out laughing, thinking all along about The Holy Grail. "It's only a rabbit".

Morning everyone.
All this talk about virus is getting me spooked.
My computer is networked through another one which has the alot of Norton stuff on it. I am supposing that since the other one is protected, mine is too?

Good Morning to some of you and good afternoon to others. Hope everyone is OK and the computer problems, virus, health, and the employment needs you all have will be solved soon.
Trying to catch up with the thread and not doing too good of a job. Didn't sleep too well last night and not real "with it" today.
I need some money to make me feel better. Maybe the postman will bring me some.
Corin, need to go back for a closer look, but from what I have been able to grasp with my feeble brain, your Flat Frodo Adventure is great. Welcome home.
I need a nap and money and "I want to see mountains, Gandalf, mountains, and find somewhere to finish my book..."
