The Hobbit Hole IV – The Road Goes Ever On…
Posted on 08/04/2003 9:43:18 AM PDT by HairOfTheDog
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
The Road Goes Ever On
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

lol! mrsnad said, "I'm familiar with that..."
Becca sure is tough... I'm of the opinion that every boy should grow up familiar with the sight, smell, and taste of his own blood... Becca is a vet in this area, and she ain't a whiner...

Regular. Someday I'd like to get a bread machine...but on the other hand, there's something nice about doing it by hand. Lot of memories, I guess.
I can see if I can come up with the recipe later, if you like! I'll have to patch it together a bit since I took a basic whole wheat bread recipe (from off the King Arthur flour bag) and varied it by using honey for the sweetener and adding bulgar wheat, which I soaked in boiling water to soften it - the way you do for tabouli, if you've ever made that.

Sooo....did you get to meet CD? Nope. I think he gets there today. Prolly passed him on the highway.

I hate to say it, but the only time I think Matthew has seen any of his own blood was when his teeth fell out! And if you recall, I seriously mean "fell out"...remember, one feel out while he was jigging around in the living room!
Now he did have all kinds of blood when our dog bit him across his face, but he doesn't remember it...he was just turned two.
Steve fainted.

Corin is startin' at the beginning of the thread! Yeah, Corin had lofty ambitions, but gave up after about 400 posts and started the speed readin'.
