WN; it's a great one alright, the movie works on a lot of levels, just plain enjoyable.

Okay, it's a fun flick, Turn of the Century Morroco, Gunboat Diplomacy, US Marines, and Sean Connery, dressed in black, riding a white stallion, carrying a big scimitar-which he can wield with great effect. To that list, I'd add the starring role of the Winchester M97.
I rate the scene of the Marines (and the Navy band) going through the palace almost as inspiring as the real-life performance of our Army, Marines, and the British (I think they brought a band) in Iraq.
