I think he was treated shamefully...Giving him the full terrorist treatment...telling him everything would be taken care of and then leaving his boat at sea without the beacon so it could be found again....Now if he wants to do anymore ocean rowing he will have to get a new boat....Thank you very much Uncle Sam....

I read about the picnic in the Texas forum here, but my day was spent working on the remodel from hell project at our hovel.

Is the move to Austin still in effect?

A friend of mine, who had teurette's(Spelling?), shot himself with a shotgun. Problem was, it was loaded with light trap shot, and he shot himself from the right hand side.
He made steak tartar out of the lower half of his heart and lungs, but lived long enough to die on the table at Westchester Medical.
He came to on the Life Flight on the way there, and said "Well, I guess I get to find out if there really is a God." (Exact words: I guess I get to find out if our conversations were right.)

Everyone else I knew died in an accident.
And usually people who try to commit suicide don't really want to die, they want someone to ride up and save them at the last second, to magically make everything better.
What a sad subnote to the story.
