There's a joke in there somewhere about being barefoot.
But the brain isn't functioning at the moment.

No, not barefoot and pregnant.
Not sure exactly how it went anymore, but it's more along the lines of 'running a little wild'.

You're having a lovely day there. Love those flowers. I appreciate people who grow gardens because it gives me something to photograph. You do both.

300 piece puzzles work best in my book; 2 people, 2 hours, its a fun date.
I noticed something, perhaps you could corroborate. The bigger the lobster, the better the flavor. We had some nice 3 pounders dished up at a posh cafe in Hollywood a while back, and those had a 'nutty' flavor I haven't had since. Then they go down to the little 'rock lobsters' shipped in from Australia, which have hardly any flavor. Have you ever noticed differences in flavor due to size, or is it just locale? The New England ones seem to taste best.

I won't even eat a lobster is it isn't from New England. I've had them, kept trying them and gave up on them. Rock lobster tends to be tough and flavorless.
I think from what I've heard every size lobster is tender if cooked right. We have steamed ours, but still tend to like them covered completely for cooking. When you steam them the lower ones in the pot get over-cooked.
You should put lots of Sea Salt in the water.. I'm talking at least a cup or more.. It's scary what they recommend.. I usually use a cup. We then add a couple cans of beer according to how many we cook. It adds a nice flavor with the salt. If you can get your hands on some seaweed, lay that on the top of them, but you have to usually scavange for that stuff. So the taste I would say is all in the cooking.. and locale..
Rock Lobster will never cut it, and besides.. they have no claws, and are a rip-off for the price.. They actually sell them here now, can you believe it, and they cost way more.. Riiiiiiight!!!!

Some flowers near the window.
Val, those pink Geraniums are the regrowth ones that I kept from last year.. They are doing well..and are blossoming nicely now.. I put them in paper bags in the cellar over the winter..and it worked great. I'm going to try and save all of them this year.. The hard part is collecting the paper bags.. You have to make a point not to get plastic with your groceries..;)

What a colorful picture gran... you are no slouch as a gardener either. Here is a photo of a castle, not as good as your Hammond Castle but we´re third world so what can we do?

Santa Cruz (near Sada)... The wooden causeway in on the left.
