In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....

Good Morning Class. Welcome to WFTD! Today is the 4th of July; Celebrate your independence and the men and women who have fought and died to ensure your freedom.
I don't have a linked example for you. Today, enjoy your freedom, and give thanks to the people who used their apercus wisdom to keep you free.
Have fun, wander in when you can, give thanks that you live here, give prayer that we will overcome, and give hugs to any and all veterans.

Here's some stuff that won't interest you at all: Mitch Miller's brother was Skitch Henderson, who was Johnny Carson's Tonight Show music director WAAAAY back when. That is, unless my Alzheimered brain is completely deceiving me.

My Texas public school education was quite sufficient for dealing with a Canuck, thank you.
HAR!
All kidding aside, if you were board stiff I doubt you would be having these problems with females becoming bored with you........
Shouldn't you be as stiff as a board by now from inebriation? (Inebriation: the result of consuming too many alcoholic beverages).
All the women who are bored with me, are so because I'm not rich.
(I saw a cute bumper sticker in Montreal once on a crappy little car with some gal driving it: "Rich? I'm single!") :^)
