You know, the leftists think President Bush is a blood-thirsty war-monger.
They should thank their lucky stars that this Midwestern housewife isn't in charge!
To: Miss Marple
I would vote for you Jane..:-)

I, too, would gladly vote for OL' BLOOD AND GUTS MARPLE! :))

Oh, I would never make it past the vetting process, but thank you for your vote of confidence!
I would not like to have my family harassed by the media. However, I would definitely like to help with strategy.
Seriously, the left doesn't realize how blood-thirsty some of us mild-mannered conservatives are, as well as average Americans.
On balance, this is good, because we can catch them unawares.

The CIA may be the top school of haute cuisine, but they also have a kick-butt down-home potato salad recipe in the textbook. I'm starving. I can't wait for the potato salad to cool down so we can eat.

Have you got a site for the potato salad recipe? I make an unusual potato alad, recipe from my mother. it is not sweet, and everyone who tries it likes it.
To: Miss Marple
No site for the recipe. I got it out of their textbook. It's not sweet either. It's pretty simple, but it's the perfect balance of flavors. Of course, this being Texas, I used cilantro instead of parsley, just to make it a little better. ;>)

It sounds delicious! Any special ingredients??
To: Miss Marple
Potato Salad
2.5 lb cooked red bliss potatoes, peeled and sliced
6 oz hard cooked eggs, small dice
5 oz diced onions
5 oz diced celery
1 oz Dijon mustard
1 oz parsley (or cilantro)
1 pt Mayo
worcestershire sauce as needed
salt, pepper to taste
You know how to put it together. The recipe makes 10 servings.

No vinegar? hmmmmm...suprising
To: habs4ever
That's what I thought at first, but there is vinegar in the prepared mustard and the mayo. I also added a little buttermilk.

Similar to mine. Here is mine:
12 medium potatoes, boiled and peeled
6 hard-boiled eggs, peeled
1 onion, diced
2 tsp. celery seed
mayonaise as required, probably about 1 1/2 cups
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup diced celery, optional
Ingedients should be mixed and refrigerated for at least 2 hours.

(Today is a good day to be kind to a elderly person. A smile, a 'Hi' can mean the world to them.)

Pretty close, but about twice the amount of egg, which is ok. I had to convert your recipe in my head. LOL! Most commercial recipes use weights instead of volumes, as in 5.4 oz. yolks. It looks like I'm becoming acclimitized. ;>)
