It was the same for me in one of the Smithsonian gift shops a year or two ago when looking for GW's cards, found facing backwards. Last year one exibit had forms to fill out asking opinion of the exibit. I wrote I couldn't believe how p.c. it had become in putting down our country. It sounds like the Lincoln Memorial has done the same. These are federally funded institutions as bad as PBS. Jay Leno had a good comeback for those liberals claiming about the media being slanted toward the conservatives. He wanted to know how about the N.Y. Times, L.A.Times, ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS
CNN, CNBC, MSNBC. He must be a good Republican.

Yes, John's off at the rehearsal and dinner, and William arrived this afternoon. We just had flank steak cooked on the grill.

Guess what?? About 4:30 we had 60 +mph winds go thru here. They lasted about 10 min., then the rain. The yard is a disaster area, the bracket holding the flag was torn out of the brick, and we caught it just in time, before it went flying Dorothy-like down the street!
