We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
President Bush is considering sending troops to Liberia.
While not throwing full weight behind a Constitutional Amendment to guarantee such a thing, the President did say he believed that marriage was indeed a union between a man and a woman.
Two separate incidents temporarily shut down subway service and the Brooklyn Bridge in Manhattan yesterday. The subway was closed in the southern part of the island after finding suspicious packages, while the bridge was shut down because a man reported to authorities he had been offered money to drive a car parked outside City Hall and park it on the Brooklyn Bridge. The car was found to be clean.
And research has shown that regular pot smokers are at greater risk of mental illness later in life.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
And the article from CNS (BTW - what does that stand for? Clinton News Service?) isn't even accurate!
I posted this over there...
Washington in 2001 withdrew from Kyoto,
CNS needs to have a better fact checking bureau.
If they wanted accuracy, it would have read:
Washington, during the Clinton Administration [NOT 2001 - note the subtle attempt to make President Bush anti-environment!!], declined to consider the treaty for ratification on a 99-0 Senate vote, amid concerns the agreement would seriously harm the American economy.
We never withdrew because we were never part of the arrangement.
In the ongoing dialogue between Hillary's head and heart, between her pragmatic understanding of the need to compromise and her impulsive support for sweeping and radical change, the heart won. When she runs for president in 2008, couching herself as a pragmatic moderate, let's all remember that when the chips were down, she voted to keep kicking the political football rather than give elderly federal assistance in buying medicine.
