i am well aware that there are horrid horrid women out there that screw men over. but in no way do women have a monopoly on the horrible behavior, so i just find the whole thing offensive. it is equally appalling the men who permitted wives to stay home, support them and their families, while they sought a professional degree and then ooops, dump them for a trophy wife once they are settled in their career. there has to be every bit as many of those as the poor beknighted guy who gets screwed over and paying child support etc.

I agree completely with you.

When I filed for divorce I told the ex I would foot the bill, I didn't want anything etc - he actually tried to get me to pay his legal fees and wanted spousal support because he could no longer manage to pay the bills without my income.

Needless to say not only did my lawyer laugh at him - so did his own lawyer.
