AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 877) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | June 16, 2003 | All of Us

Posted on 06/16/2003 4:15:04 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

The 45th Paris Air Show has opened. In attendence was not a single representative from Lockheed Martin, the leading American defense contrator. Lockheed cited "scheduling conflicts."

Few Iraqis have turned in their heavy weapons after a deadline set by American forces had passed. In response, United States troops have started combat sweeps in towns based on intelligence reports and are seizing caches of heavy weapons.

Scientists have stated they have found the gene responsible for causing bipolar disorder (sometimes called manic-depressive syndrome).

American forces may be part of an international force to root out terrorism in the Mideast, particularly Hamas, says Senator Lugar.

Senator Leaky from Vermont has said the White House should consult with him and other leading Criminal Party members before selecting any Supreme Court nominee in order to avoid a "traumatic national battle," in the words of the New York Times.

And in Kantafordia, the recall petition now has around 700,000 of the 900,000 signatures it needs to obtain by the beginning of September. Governor Grayout Davis has made the following comment about the recall: ""It will move us backwards and cost the taxpayers $30 million. It's just a bunch of affluent losers who are trying to spend money to throw this state into reverse."

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

It's best to get it done, before it gives you more trouble, Dog.

What do you mean "We"???

I always speak in the 'royal' we mode. We thought you knew that about us. ;>p

Maybe not always, but mostly.

Sounds like fishing for an answer to us....

Yes, on short notice, I theoretically could have a mouse in my pocket.....

Not bored. Just zonkered with words.

Flame you? Flame you? I would NEVER flame you.

Unless you try to make me eat lima beans.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they aren't.

I've already started studying the boring detail of the chemical composition of lima beans to try to make them palatable to normal humans. It's going to be a fight.

Ok. Since I've killed the thread, I'll call it a night.

God bless us all. Each, and every one.

I've read elsewhere on FR tonite that Bruce Willis wants to play JR Ewing in the upcoming movie and a young man in India has fleas hatching inside his body and they are escaping thru his urine. Also the truth is coming out about the Hillary book. Apparently a million copies were NOT printed, and 200,000 copies were not sold the first week.

I was better off when I was too busy to read that stuff. It reminds me of the stuff I read in the tabloids in the checkout line at the supermarket.

Evening all. I just posted an article, and thought I would drop by to say hi. I have some sort of bronchial infection (blech), and it is taking all my energy just to go to work. Yes, I still have a job, rumor has it layoffs will be over by June 30, and adjusted July 31. Oh goody, such stress is so wonderful to live under. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know I'm still around, just not being on the computer at all when I get home. :) Take care.

P.S. I read The Pianist on the flight home from Miami, I did see the movie also. Highly recommended, even if watching the movie puts money into Roman Polanski's pocket. It is one of the better movies I have seen in a long long time.

Scientists have stated they have found the gene responsible for causing bipolar disorder (sometimes called manic-depressive syndrome).

Will you send me a copy of that key? I need it to unlock the mysteries of my 2nd ex-wife.

The other day I visited her in the hospital, where she ends up all too often. The subject came up, and she admitted that one shrink had diagnosed here as bi-polar. But another said she wasn't. She told me, "He said I'm not bi-polar because I don't do irrational things."

"Case settled," I said. She looked at me sadly, and just, faintly, nodded in agreement.

The stories I could tell to that shrink....

Really, I'd like to cry, but it's too damned funny. So it's genetic, huh? I can't wait to tell her parents....

Good evening to you. Nope, IG we can't talk about him. I just emailed my essay to the school so I can go over it there and double check the references to make sure I have them correct.

If John is doing anything with chocolate or cheesecake, I want to be on his good side.

UG, I'm glad you're still gainfully employed.

Sorry to hear about your bronchial infection. But so glad to hear your job is secure for the time being.

On another matter. Do you have any aquaintances who will be assisting with the arrangements for the NFRW Convention in the fall? The registration forms came late last week. Since I have some interest in doing some family research, I am giving some thought to attending the convention and making it a two fer.

re. cat on hot tin roof...

I've been tormented lately by a woodpecker that has decided to go insect searching on the roof just above my bedroom. He's partial to 6 a.m., and I think his basic strategy is to make so much noise as to scare the bugs out.... sounds like a jackhammer.

I've been relieved of the bird since last weekend. My neighbor called last night to ask if we've been hearing any strange banging noises lately. He's moved next door. I told her that it's just some Homeland Security measure and to ignore it as best she can.

I'm not sure what the NFRW convention is. Wait just a minute...oh yeah, it's the National Republican Woman convention to be held in SLC. I don't know anyone who is attending, or volunteering, but I can poke around and find out. I'll let you know. (I'd attend just to stay at the Grand America Hotel, it is a wonderful hotel.) I have to go to bed, but I'll try and get some info to you in the next few days.
