Here's a little start on your source for S&S print jobs:

Quebecor World Awarded Multi-Year Contracts from Simon & Schuster Valued at $230 Million Dollars

And for the real cash behind the deal, check out who actually owns S&S (yes, indeed, Viacom):

Canadian College Publishing who owns whom?

Thanks for asking,LBKQ.

He is dragging his left leg ever so little. We are to continue with the aspirin for the next few days.

Much relief in this family, believe me.

I treat him much like an overgrown puppy. He is such a good boy. Not a mean bone in him.

How are things with you and your family?

GD is gettin where she wants a pony and knowing me, most likely will get one but the neighbor across the street has one and I talked to him about Allie taking care of it for a month for him, then we will see. Somehow I think its just a 'want' thing right now.

Sorry I went to bed early last night, Nicollo. Thanks so much for the information! Unfortunately, I can't access the site because it requires a password.

Would I be correct in assuming the printer Canadian, located in Quebec?

How very, very interesting....

Morning kind lady, we are getting drenched as we speak, big time. Oh well, so goes going to the farm today, I was going to take a bunch of Cannas and other plants to put in my 'strandby garden', a place I fixed to take plants that I am given and take from my yard to have when we landscape our new place (hope to hear final word on monday).

Good morning, gc.

That is an excellent idea.

You may be surprised. Allie may enjoy caring for the pony. There is something magical about a little girl and horses.

I told d last night that if anyone os us ever makes plans to have a gettogether somewhere we are going to come. This is I mean. There is nothing better I would rather do than meet all (Unless it is in downtown NYC, the last thing ya'll would want to see is a Mississippi boy driving in that town).

A "standby" garden is an excellent idea! I need a bed like that, which is often described in British gardening books as a "nursery bed."

It is a bed in which you put donated plants, small divisions, cuttings and seedlings until you are ready to put them in their permanent position.

Grandchildren are coming later today, and I will take them to the pool for an hour or so IF we don't get rain. Forecast right now is for thunder showers. Good thing I bought that "Chutes and Ladders" game yesterday!

And you can bet that she would have a pony if that is the case. I think she will take to taking care of him (or her). The way she is shooting up she will need a horse before long. Me, I want two Jackasses (that will be three of us then).

Good morning everyone!!

yes we are leaving in a few hours to go see Molly and hubby.

Our phone went out yesterday early, and stayed out all day until at least 8PM...Phone guys had a difficult time finding the source of the problem.

Weird thing was select houses in our neighborhood were able to recieve GARBLED incoming calls that were intended for OTHER phone numbers..but not able to make OUTGOING calls..it was quite strange.

You've had an excellent idea. Caring for the neighbor's horse will give gd some insite as to what owning a horse is all about. If she still wants a horse after mucking out the barn for a month, it will probably be the real deal.
