I'm going out looking this week. I got a few leads before I left on the cruise. One is a townhouse in an area close to where I grew up, the other is a small house with a small lawn (the main attraction is a fireplace.)

Did anyone watch THE interview? I missed it, oh darn. But 97's picture was everywhere in the airport news stands. Blech. And the picture isn't that flattering of her.

I'm renting for awhile. I'm going mostly on feelings and intuition, I just don't feel right about buying right now (even though it is a buyer's market.) I hate to get into something and then lose my job.

I didn't have the stomach for watching the interview ..... but there was a LIVE thread and it was quite entertaining.

Hillary Interview ~ Live Thread (Pre-game show)

Be sure to read the keywords ...... Dog put in some good ones when he started the thread and I see that quite a few others have been added.

#336...God placed us in a loving Lutheran church for a season of 12 years....

..and we were much loved indeed!!

Our pastor was a tall, lanky, white haired dear, a graduate of Wheaton College, ....gregarious, warm and kind.

Our children have fondest memories of growing up amidst the mostly Norwegian, Swedish, German congregation and the wives ( a lot of farm wives) could cook up a storm. :)

It was lovely.

It was at this church that I came to know the Lord, as that is where he chose to seek me out.

Dear pastor retired to Arizona and continues to work with an Indian reservation....bringing his own special joy to those around him......

The Lord saw fit, a couple years later, to move us to the wonderful Presbyterian PCA church, where my husband came to know the Lord, and we stayed for 14 years.....

Now we are in a newly planted (that's what the PCA call churches they are freshly starting....'planted church'....

..and the congregation is small but friendly, and there is much need here.

We opened our home to Bible Study..(sharing this duty with another family)...and grew to know & love the dear folks who attended every Tuesday night....

...We call the Tuesday/Wednesday night Bible Studies held in homes...'Small Groups'....as in a small group one gets to know each other better....

...but this is a small church, and as it is, we didn't even have a facility to meet permanently until 6 weeks ago :))

This is my family now......and I get to hold, hug and play with LOTS of toddlers & babies ...(we have a young congregation!)....

..while I wait for my own grandchildren someday :)

The Lord provides!!
