I really just can't tolerate Sean anymore...his reading off script and word for word re-run of his radio show on the TV show just scratches my nerves too much.
I've been watching quite a bit of the FOOD CHANNEL since I have been sick.

I've tried everything, but this. LOL
If I were as rude as the rain
And came when I was uninvited
And stayed too long and ruined people's fun
(like going to the baseball game with my dad
and eating hotdogs in the sunshine)
And made children (like me) miserable,
I'd be sent to my room for quiet time,
Until I learned to behave.

For different reasons, I've never warmed up to the show, Nita.
Listening to the Indians game last night, I heard that scalpers are getting $1500 for tickets to today's Cubs/Yankees match-up.- Clemens going for # 300.
Don't forget the Belmont this afternoon. Coverage starts at 5:30ET on NBC, I think.

I saw that. One thing I did see about Estrich, which was rather interesting. When they had that slimey guy on who has the rights to Amber Frey's pictures, Estrich suddenly became a trial attorney, and was rather good at skewering him under cross-examination. I almost liked her for a minute or two.
Also, I am glad to see that the Fox make-up people have puffed up her hair a bit. She looked a good deal more presentable.

Good Morning everybody. The sun is shining, 55 degrees.
Our little community is holding it's annual celebration today. I will be heading out soon to run to the County Seat to pick up candy to throw from the Republican Party's float in the parade.
Hope everyone has a great day.

Good Morning, Miss Marple, all.
Rain today as well. Highs only getting up into the 60's.

Wel, I spoke too soon about no rain today. I just heard thunder. Sigh.

Chair,
At first I thought you weather map you put up was the globe... and I started wondering where they put Wisconsin.
Whew... I feel better now... I think.

Nita,
I used to enjoy Sean Hannity's radio show, but his shouting match with Scott Ritter a few weeks back didn't do much for him.
When he told Ritter to "Go ahead and sue him" seemed a bit sophmoric.

Granny, you've got sunshine?
I thought the sun was just a myth...

Oh!! I've been meaning to tell you. I was listening to Glenn Beck Thursday morning.
He mentioned that he is a Trading Spaces addict.
He spoke about the brown room.
He said if the producer of the show informs you that Hildy is decorating your room..
LOCK YOUR DOORS!!!
LOL

As I've said a lot this spring - I don't have to plow rain....
Good morning! I'll see you at the grad open house for V.
To: The Coopster
OK....advance menu information is that V has requested Subway and Chick-Fil-A for eats. Her folks came and got the big coffee urn last night.
To: Neets
And what's up with the constant berating of his screener, Flipper?
She didn't eat the lopster from the lopster gram he sent her, and set it free in a fresh water pond. ( A big no-no...)He continues to use that as a whip against her, and its getting to be old real fast.
And Flipper can't make a distinction over what life is more valuable, an animal, or human?!!!

Good morning, Jay.
I agree with your assessment about Sean.
At times it seems as though all my conservative talk friends irritate, however, I remember when we had none.
I'm thankful they are on my side and that they have a large listening audience.... perhaps, changing one person at a time.
I just wish they could tone it down a tad and talk facts not emotion.

I see my old home town of Altoona is in for some wet today.
But, I must say, I thought it was the globe at first. Very disconcerting at this time in the morning.
To: lysie; Neets
Your'e absolutelyt right.
Last week must have been a bad week for some talk show hosts. I heard shrill coming from Mike Gallagher, Sean, and Mike Savage... but I am oh so glad they're out there.
It's funny, but in the town where I live, the local city bus company was founded by a very liberal democrat. (I know the family well... they consider me their token Republican friend.)But on the back of a few city buses are big advertisements for Rush's show. It tickles me to no end, and must just kill them to see that there.
I still enjoy listening to Rush. He seems to be the most knoweldgeable of the bunch!
