Well it's not raining this morning but it's still wet out there ..

Just when I thought we were having summer, January came back. Yesterday was cool and foggy. We were having a friends and family BBQ at Lafayette Reservoir on Saturday, and nearly froze. The picnic tables were under the trees, and the shade, and on a bit of a crest, so the wind came up over the rise and blew right over the lawn and picnic area. BRRRRRR. The fog burned off around 1:30, but it was still windy. Several people brought folding chairs, so we sat out in the sun to eat. It was the coldest day we'd had in weeks, and that's the day we had to have the BBQ. Figures, doesn't it?

It is cold, dark and pouring down rain here today. Thunderstorms moved in last night. I wonder how many weddings were ruined.
