That's one of my 3 favorite sayings. "I gotta take care of this". The other words I use is "owe him one" or "do what I have to do".
I am writing to you because I am DEEPLY disturbed by a situation that occurred tonight in the Adult Graduate (AAB Program).
I was absent due to an extremely bad headache and called **** to advise him I would sign on and participate in the discussion board from home.
Actually, let me preface this; this problem dates back to almost the beginning of class. ****** ******* is enrolled in this program through PACE. The more I see the kind of person she (or he) is, the more I wonder if Olivet did not forsake it's Christian/Nazarene principals in a swell of hypocreaceae and greed.
I enrolled in Olivet so I would not have to deal with liberal socialist non-Christian views at a liberal college fraught with atheist professors. Instead, I have it thrown in my face by attending with the extreme of extreme a trans-gender liberal espousing non Christian anti church views in my face when I asked the class (as class representative) about setting up an "adopt a chaplain" program for the troops overseas. I was polite and professional to her/him and have remained Christian in spite of all of her actions. Tonight was the final straw. I was informed by several of the people on my study team that in my absence she took every pot shot she could at me. When I confronted her and asked her to call me and discuss it to my face, she called, screamed at me to grow up and hung up on me.
I do not blame *** and **** for this, the problem dates back way before they became our instructors and has been building for some time. She/he "*****" has delighted in antagonizing my fellow teammates whom she works with and are too meek to say anything. I, however, have had enough of her pushing people around and her boisterous ways and am sick and tired of having to walk on "eggshells" in light of being "politically correct". I thought the church (and church sponsored organizations) was above that, we answered to God, not to Government.
I don't pretend to be the best Christian and I can look the other way and not get into other peoples' lives, but when they insist on jumping in my face and constantly antagonizing me, then crying foul when I dish it back at them, it's time to do something.
I have no problem being civil to "****" for the next 3 months until I transfer to the BS in Mangement program. I have no interaction with her except in class, and until now I"ve managed to be calm about that. HOWEVER, I will not sit back while she goads me. I have, until now, been quite playful with the opposition and thrown it back in a joking manner. But it has to stop. She CANNOT be allowed to bully everyone else and we can't say anything because she's "one of the protected ones". Whatever he/she wants to live her life as is fine with me, but DO NOT expect to be able to hide behind that every time it suits her because she can't take what she dishes out.
Again, I'm disappointed that you've apparently lowered your Christian creed & standards in favor of hypocreaceae and greed because Pace is a big supporter of your program.
Perhaps this college does not have room for conservative Christians like me and would rather I move on and find another conservative college. That would be a shame since up until now I've received the top marks in the class. I was looking forward to joining the BS program.
You might want to consider, in your decision, that I have inside source from members of my team that as soon as Harper College has their adult AA program done, they are "endorsing" that at PACE. I hate to leave, but again, I picked Olivet for the Christian values and conservative approach to business with ethics. It's counter productive to have Stella espousing her anti-big business, pro abortion, anti church views in our class.
I can stomach it for three months until I transfer to the BS program, but she needs to calm down with her views or be prepared to take what she dishes out. I love a good debate and have no problem debating with her and her illogical irrational views. When she can be an adult about it.
You may want to consult the former two teachers as well. Another matter is **** has missed in those classes WAY more than the allowed 20%. The first class she missed the first 3 weeks and then one other and was still allowed to finish. Will I be given that kind of leeway????
Thank you for your help in this manner. I would appreciate a prompt response and some resolution in this matter. I would suggest that you review the mission statement & creed of your college for what you represent as well.

I fully agree with your concerns. I am so sorry that someone has not taken *** to task and stopped her badgering the whold class.
There is a time and a limit to what anyone should be allowed to say/contribute in class and sounds that she has exceeded both. I am now in Jamaica teaching a class. I will be back in my office on Tuesday of next week. I will talk with some instructors and possibly you by phone or e-mail and decide how we need to proceed from here.
Olivet does hold to our standards and he have no way of knowing that students whether from PACE or somethere else are taking advantage of our Christian principles unless a student tells. I appreciate you writing to me and I will take action on this as soon as I can get all the information I need to know who to approach and how to address them. Thank you so much.
You can bet I will be following through to make sure that happens. The only reason I left the school name in is I think that a school that stands by it's values out to be praised.
Ok, back to the beautiful people
My dad(whose 6'4 and built) was the 3rd oldest of 11. He has 5 brothers(averaged 6'2) and 5 sisters. His youngest sister is 16 years younger than my dad. I don't think too many 16-18 year olds wanted to deal with 30, 32, and 33 year old older brothers.
