Is that the rap group that came out with that tune "The Bonnie and Clyde thing"? I liked that tune. It came around 1993.

I was talking about eminem's Bonnie & Clyde... it's a frightening song, not for the faint of heart. That's one of the few songs of his that i really prefer not to listen to.

He doesn't really hate women.Oh, yeah, it's always great satire to rap about raping your mom...NOT! He's an idiot who's ashamed to be white.

I'm just very very very difficult to offend. Hell, I let my hubby keep the most graphic porn you could find on his computer (not like the illegal stuff or anything) and it doesn't bother me. Kindof glad he has it in fact when I'm not in the mood. Maybe it's the xanax.

I asked ya if you could sing...you never answerd me way back...scroll up a few posts or 10 or 20...lol. You have mail too.

As a woman, I agree that Eminem is not a woman-hating person. It is all an act and he gets attention alright from those who love to get his music off the air to those who praise him.
I am not for violence and I don't go for violent men. But what I see in Eminem is a realist who writes what he observes in society! If some people look at his music as "hate speech" than this becomes highly political and has nothing to do with his lyrics at all. They want to demonize and feminize Eminem which ain't gonna happen. No woman is gonna "pw" this fella for the sake of political correctness.

Early day tomorrow so I avoided the Irish Pub tonight. I just flipped in an old DVD. Caddyshack. Hilarious every time, and Al's my hero in that movie.

"As a woman, I agree that Eminem is not a woman-hating person. It is all an act and he gets attention alright from those who love to get his music off the air to those who praise him. "
I think most of his act is done just because it's what makes him money. I've read many times that he doesn't allow his daughter to listen to any of his music unless it can be edited to be kid-safe. And every single thing I've read about his personal life shows him to be just the opposite of his stage personality. Supposedly he's even reunited with his ex-wife now to work things out so they can be a family because he really does try to be a good dad.

Here's the deal, girls......we are adults, we understand sattire...it's what he's teaching the younger generation who DO NOT understand....who take things quite literally...and yes, the parents should control that...I *allow* my daughters to listen to it only because I can explain to them in lyrics how wrong things are. We always talk about lyrics....so they understand that they can't live by them...
Take, ummmm. Ludacris' song "Dip"...with lyrics like "I wanna lick lick lick ya from your head to your toes..." and well, they get worse from there ..."back seat, windows up, that's the way you like that stuff.." etc. Great dance tune, HOWEVER, what kind of message does it send to my 12 & 13 yo when they play it on the radio every 20 minutes???????
