(Boy this backs my tag, huh?)
I know you can do it if you have a website, but can you if you don't? Like if I wanted to post an image from Geocities here. Could I do that? Thanks.

I'm sticking around for the answer. I don't know either. Thanks for asking.

You can't upload an image to Free Republic.
You can link to an image available elsewhere on the web.
If you have a web site or other web presence, you can upload your image there and link it on Free Republic. The HTML for that is (very simply):
<img src="http://yourwebsite.com/yourpicture.jpg">

You can't from your hard drive, but you can from another web address.

This image is typed in as:
< img src="http://www.basenji-klub.de/Ejengi_B_Wurf1.JPG" Height="124" Width="189">
To get the info you need, right click on an image and go to properties.

Ok, what I do is I right click on a photo I like on the web, go to properties, then copy the link (http://www.whatever.com/-.jpg/gif..)I paste it in html format in my replies...you have to do this:
(< img src="in this space paste your link">)
That should do it.
