Bridge Over Troubled Waters?! YESSS!!! I love that song - a SINGER's song. I can't wait!
The way I figure it, they are both friends, they pray together - that's good. If Ruben wins, Clay will get a wonderful recording contract with Neil Sedaka, or basically whoever he wants to sign with. If Clay wins, it will be a testament to his versatility and range. Either way, it's good. Either way, both young men will have a good-to-great music career ahead of them. We don't have a Nikki McKibbin situation percolating here, and that's good. And both young men have had their talent showcased nationally already. (But I'm voting for Clay!)

Clay did a wonderful job on "Bridge Over Troubled Waters."
His arrangements tend to be a bit faster tempo than I like, but I guess everything moves more slowly for me these days, so maybe I just don't feel the need for speed. ;)
Clay gave the best overall performance tonight, imo. (Ruben reminds me of a policeman I used to work with; Clay reminds me of my nephew. They're both cuddly.)
