Did you guys see that tomorrow nights show will be broadcast live at the RBC center? American Idol will show live clips on the show from there.

Anyone planning on going? It's free.

Yes, well, they use to call it the ESA, but it's the RBC Centura Center.........the ARENA......where N.C. State plays...along with the Hurricanes.

It is HUGE.....I just cannot believe they are going to open it up for Clay fans to watch on the JumboTron!

Yeah I saw that. I've never been to the RBC Center but it looks to me like it can seat a few more than Raleighwood ; )

LOL...I couldn't believe it but both of my boys knew who Clay was. I turned AI on and they started shouting "GO CLAY"

I hadn't said a word about it and tonight was the first time I've ever watched it so I was suprised. Turns out that my 5 year old's pre-school teachers daughter had Clay as a YMCA camp counselor so she's been talking about it to him at school.

My 8 year old's teacher is a neighbor of Clay's family. I let them stay up and watch the show and they were fascinated. My husband OTOH had to go upstairs and channel surf because he couldn't stand AI. Oh well, there's no accounting for taste.

Not positive, Lurk. I know that will indeed send an SMS text message to a cellphone; whether or not AI will accept it as such, I don't know.

Every kid in North Raleigh that went goes to Finley knows who Clay is. Heck, I came by there one day last week and he was there.....along with a ton of TV crews! They went MAD, I tell ya!

Honestly, you should think about taking them.......they'll never see anything like it again in their lives. And the other kids would think that they had a cool mama!

The reporterette said she had just talked with Simon and he told her his money was on Clay, FWIW

It may be telling that Simon is picking Clay to win. He has access to something we don't: the vote tallies.
