Here are a bunch of images of mergansers - I haven't seen any that look quite like these though...

I don't see it either, but generally any "duckie" with very smooth feathers on the head and then a ruff of feathers on top is a merganzer.

These may be somebodies exotic pets from who knows where. I hunted ducks in the Central Flyway for 40 years and never saw anything that looked like them, either in the wild or in the identification guides.
