Wow.. you're lucky then.. It looked like it was going to rain for two weeks down there.

I was getting a little tired of living under the air, and the pool was getting up to the ninties.

I think we came back just in time.. It was 86 in the shade here today. Had to wait until late in the day to do the gardening..but hopefully it will cool down. I'm not ready for the heat here yet..

I think Mo sent me her head cold through this thread...I was over on ebay, dolly shopping(what else), and I felt so lousy, I had to stop shopping for dollies, and I need to go lay down...I cant breathe, and my head feel like its going to explode...

You know, I did not think about that...but you are probably right...up there on the mountain, milling around with all the other tourists, I probably caught something...

This is really just a grand excuse to drink...think I will make myself a few hot toddies , with lots and lots of Jack Daniels in it...normally, I just keep my Jack Daniels around for just this very purpose..a few of those, and I wont know where I am, nor will I care...

It was in the mid and upper 90s here for a week, then suddenly today a wind came up and the temp dropped from 73 this morning to 59 by lunchtime. *L* It feels good actually.

Hi Val..I'm just catching American Idol before I head up to bed.. If I go up there and watch it in bed, I'll fall asleep before it's over.

So far I think they they both have picked rotten songs, but I think Clay is singing better.. I hope they pick songs I like for last.. :(
