Well, Westy, I am sure that a number of BigDoms fellow postal workers, have their guns in their cars....most of the folks that he works with are very strong gun advocates, and you will find nary a Democratic supporter among most of his coworkers on the graveyard shift...

Oh darn.. I lived in Calif. for three years and never did get any Fried Abalone. I heard from all my family that it was soooo good. It was their favorite thing.. My niece still craves it so badly..

I have never heard of Geoduck.. I wonder what it is? I will have to look it up on google tomorrow.. ;)

mmmmmmmmmmmm we used to go clamming and get those geoducks fresh. They are yummy! buttery flavored clams... it's been ages since I did that.

Does anyone here have a Ouija Board mouse? Both here and in Fl.. my mouse arrow just travels around the monitor all by itself.. It really shocked one of my computer repairmen when he saw it.. He's never seen it before. It's been really flying today..

I wonder if that's why the Ouija Board was so scary years ago?

Thanks for that report on Geoducks...maybe now, I will try them....I guess in time, I could get over the sight of them...

Having come from Chicago, and having lived in the south for many years, when I got to the Pacific Northwest, and saw my first Geoduck in the supermarket, I almost screamed out loud...I had never seen anything like it....

But now that I know they are good tasting and yummy, I will be brave and buy one and try it...

The geoduck clam (pronounced "gooe­duck") is the largest bivalve along Puget Sound and the largest burrowing clam in the world. Also one of the oldest animals in the world, geoducks can live as long as 146 years.
