Better a beer exchange at the P.O than a gun swap!!

Gran, you are so funny...when we had cable Tv, we got QVC and Homeshopping....and I would watch those, and often did order things also...but since we got the DISH Satellite service, I notice that there are about 4 or 5 other shopping channels...
Actually I really like QVC....I have gotten lots and lots of things from them, and always have found their prices really good, and like the convenience of having things delivered to the house...I just hate to go out shopping in crowded stores, and hate waiting in line...just like to call in my orders, when I need something...

They stay very moist in the shell when roasted. They just scream and curse Al when he plunges the knife in ;-)
He's used to that by now...
To: habs4ever
Well, I never thought of it that way, so I guess the beer exchange is better....

Gran you have got my mouth watering....I was going to buy some giant prawns and giant scallops at the store as they are on a good sale...but now have a taste for steamers and mussels...I love to have a mixed pot of steamers and mussels, tho I usually steam them in chicken broth and veggies...never thought of using beer(why I never considered beer as a steaming agent, is beyond me)..
So am anxious to try this...Monday will be Seafood Memorial Day...wish I could get a hold of some moderately priced lobsters, but am not optimistic about that...
To: grannie9
Oh gosh, I hate malls also...cannot stand to go into them...I also do a lot of catalog shopping, and shop on the internet....
I did not mind shopping at the malls, when the kids were younger, ,and especially as teens, they loved to go to the malls, and I enjoyed it as well...
But now, I just hate the Malls...havent really been to any in years and years...and probably wont go into them ever again....
I think I am just Malled-Out...
To: grannie9
I bet the desk has an ashtray attachment, too? And a pop up lighter...a cupboard for the vodak, an ice dispenser, and a potty seat too ;-)
To: grannie9
I think it's funny! He wants open discussion about issues.. until someone disagrees with him.

Our Lobsters were selling for $10.00 a pound yesterday.. for chickens..!! I wouldn't touch them for that.. Today, they are on sale for the rest of the week for $5.99. I'd be a sap for not taking advantage of that.. ;) I haven't priced the clams yet, they are probably wicked high and will make up for the savings on the lobbies..

I dont know what they ae selling for around here....I am sure they are much, much higher....I have not had a big old lobster in a quite a while...and I just love lobster...
I am green with envy, extremely jealous...
To: grannie9
I have just finished the most earthy tasting sauce.. It is a fishy tasting sauce (from the anchovies) and that is why it is named after the Puta. Kinda like "Tuna Taco"

swervie's hitting the sauce, too, it sounds like. I've got a corned beef and red potatoes, onions and carrots going - time to add the cabbage.
