So, I'm having brunch with my kids today. My 14 year old daughter's 17 year old beau is with us.
Darling Katie says to me, "You know, we only need permission from one of my parents to get married at this age"...
To: null and void
*Snappy comeback*
"Just get your Mother's permission then sweetie....."
Not even she's that crazy.......is she?

Music to my ears.....
AS much as I love how BJ sucks the life out of the Dems, watching someone with character b*tch-slap him is even better.

How will you come to grips with life without bears?
No exciting evening romps on the porch. No surprising signs in the morning. No evening fridge raids.
Don't be surprised if Crusher shows up soon......He put a tracking device on your berry preserves.....

Actually she said if after she said they could get married with parental permission, and I said, geeeeee I dunno, that would end child support and he'd have to take care of you, now you just have to talk your mom into it...

I don't think her mom is even in the loop on this one.
My sugestion that he could join the Marine Corps to support her went over like a turd in a punchbowl with her...

I don't recall even thinking about marriage then.
My daughter came home one day when she was a Freshman wanting to go out with this nice Senior she had just met.....Let's just say it was a short conversation. We were mean and didn't let her go out on dates until she was 16...plus lots of other rules....bad, mean, terrible parents we were....

Let's just say the other parental unit drop kicked this one.
On the plus side he impresses me as a good and decent guy. Smart, sharp sense of humor, good to Katie (she's a LOT calmer than she's ever been).
The little basturd reminds me of of of me...
To: null and void
Ah yes....the reminder of what you were looking for as a teenager in the eyes of your daughter's boyfriend....
Yikes!

Good luck Nully.
A teenage daughter certainly brings stresses heretofore unkown into your life....
Only five more years though.
And on that note.....I'm outta here. Gotta get ready for my next week of being an eeeevil capitalist oppressor of American workers....Gotta love class warfare!
