Anyone else using Vonage? I hooked mine up yesterday in 5 minutes. The quality is outstanding. So far so good. A good month and Bellsouth and MCI can kiss my arse..

Anyone else using Vonage?

I've been rubbing it on every day, and still haven't seen any new hair growth.

LOL. Vonage is voice over IP for your home. You make all your phone calls, local and long distance over your broadband connection. Same technology that big companies use to avoid paying the phone company for all the calls they make.
$40 a month unlimited calls. Period. Includes caller ID, call waiting, voice mail, etc...
And you can choose a California extension even if you live in Florida and vice versa, since it is not tied to the phone company.

You need a home router to share your connection and the Cisco ATA modem. The modem comes with your order, the router can be had for cheap if you don't have one. Thats it.

How is your Vonage worked out 7 months later? Been considering it myself.

i was thinking about getting it, how is it working so far? can you get 911?

I see they had a lot of problems with patents from other phone companies and can now pay the fines and move forward.
