In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....
Do you have a word you'd like to see used? Freepmail me, and if it has not been used in a while, I will add it to our list.
Do you have a birthday coming up? Please FReepmail me with the date and I will make a special birthday thread for you!

Poor EOD - 3 days of rain would drive me batty.
We had a few thunderstorms last night - of course the first one came through before I remembered to take my laundry off the line!!!

Just birthday hats?????????????????
I'd have set the alarm if I had known that!!!!!
As far as the candles go Slip, I've reached the age where my insurance requires a rider on my policy if I want to actually ignite the appropriate number of candles. And I have to alert the fire department first.
I have an appointment and will be back in about an hour or so.
Thanks everyone for a very nice welcome this morning.

well here we sit 3 coquettes with bday hats on, waiting for EOD.... If you were sitting there in your birthday suits rather than with birthday hats, I'm sure he'd come running.
To: EODGUY
but I fear classmates who shall remain nameless will probably have already have eaten same by the time I arrive. Who, me? (said VRWCmember as he brushed the icing from his mustache and the tip of his nose)

Hillary thinks we are plebeian
I wonder what image she's seein'
For her ankles and thighs
She won't garner a prize
And her pants could fit you, him, and me in
To: xsmommy
And I ROR every time!

The discourse on WFTD invariably devolves from the patrician to the plebeian. And we are most definitely not amuse-ed. Harumph harumph.
