In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....
Do you have a word you'd like to see used? Freepmail me, and if it has not been used in a while, I will add it to our list.
Do you have a birthday coming up? Please FReepmail me with the date and I will make a special birthday thread for you!

Charo's still active and playing at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas indefinitely. I guess that means until her Cuchi-Cuchi wears out.

Xavier Cugat died on October 27, 1990. His biography says nothing about any children.

There are a lot of excellent posters over there, but the ones who hang out at the "Bar" to watch our postings are insufferable gossip-mongers.

Homework:
Each national military academy argues about its traditions, (and each thinks its the toughest to get through their own way), but I believe the facts speaks for themselves: Texas A&M put more officers (and enlisted) in uniform in WWII than the others combined.
And I still think that the and second years at A&M (being a "fish" "p-head" or "frog") is harder than a plebeian at West Point.
