It's a tiny syringe of epinephrine, with a needle so you can give a quick dose when needed. It looks like a pen.

Well, I don't have one of those in my emergency first aid kit. I'll have to get a prescription for it.

It's not something everyone needs so unless someone in your household has severe allergic reactions, don't sweat it.

No, we don't have those really bad reactions to anything. Only allergies to dust. And dust we do have. It's AZ!

Are y'all rooting for the Spurs tonight, against the stinkin' Lakers? The Suns put up a great fight.

Good Heavens, Miss Bru! Must have been one heck of an event. Thanks for sharing with the class today....

I usually don't post on this daily much, and usually not "homework". I do lurk daily, and pop by once in a while to say "hello". I believe you are familiar with my wife.

I took a gander at what was happening last night, along with a few others here, and had an opinion I was willing to keep to myself, at least until I read today's opening lecture. Since your compulsion was to post in public what's on your mind, then it's OK by me to post this in the same space, only in smaller black letters.

Really, I would not have advised this level of exposure for a demonstration of your techniques for winning friends and influencing people.

Let's take this step-by-step, shall we?

1. First off, I do not dislike WFTD nor do I dislike any of you.

Gee, thanks! I feel better not being disliked. I bet a lot of people feel better not being disliked. Being remotely liked would be better than the back-handed comment you make here.

I rather do like you all quite a bit.

Make up your mind. Actions speak louder than words, and they're not saying you like anybody at all.

2. Second, I think my own thoughts, I have my own feelings. The person who I am with is NOT MY FREAKING SPOKESPERSON. Therefore, DO NOT ASSUME ANYONE ELSE'S WORDS ARE MINE. Believe it or not, even though I am female I do not rely on a male to provide my thoughts and feelings for me. People that do that are weak.

I'd be willing to place a small wager that a few people in here have had maybe one relationship with another person, and know that we are our own spokespeople. It is also, however, assumed that if one does not make a contradictory statement, then the other half is, indeed, "acting as your spokesman".

Maybe this person wasn't being your spokesman. Maybe he was. I started off assuming he was not, but your lack of rebuttal turned me around. I'm sure it turned a few others as well. Until I saw your morning monologue, I assumed that SCG was blowing smoke about your hating the class, but the way you treat the people you profess to like contradicts your point #1.

3. If you have any more ASSUMPTIONS or questions, you can FReepmail me, instead of having a FReepmail whisper-a-thon with each other, okie dokie?

I bet at least one person tried. Whisper-thon? I saw some of the "whispers", and let me tell you something: All I saw were 100% supportive of you, and sympathetic to whatever situation produced the commentary we've seen of late. Recognition that you're in a spot, and how best to help you through it.

Friends supportive of friends, imagine that!

Now, I find you bitching out those who stood by your side to help you in a time of need. This is the thanks they get.

One of the most reliable expressions I've seen in my life is the expression, "No good deed goes unpunished". A corrolary would be, the more selfless the deed the nastier the repercussions. People were lining up to stand by you and support you in however you chose to deal with things, and your preferred method of dealing with things is to slap them the first and the hardest.

Way to go, Tiny Dancer. You'll be lucky if anybody bothers to submit anything to you for a grade. Look at just today: You drop a t*rd in the classroom punchbowl, then you blow everybody off for the rest of the day.

If this were a real class, and I were a real parent of a student, I'd be pounding my real fist on the real Principal's desk, insisting on a real unemployment check for you. Even the teacher's unions wouldn't stand behind you.

But, that is not the reality. The reality is you are a starter of a daily thread, and that's all. If you want to treat the folks who post on this daily like crap, it's your business. Just don't call your whaaaambulance when folks refuse to acknowledge you.

Please remove me from your ping list. I'd like to be re-added when another teacher shows up from the college.

I'll root for the Spurs over the Lakers any time!

I don't follow basketball, except in the newspaper the following morning. It's hard enough keeping up with baseball!

I agree with you 100 percent.

The "whisper-thon" was quite small. There were less than a handful of posters with whom Bella had confided in the past in the "whisper-thon." We were worried about her. I sure as heck didn't want to embarrass Bella by putting anything on the thread. We do consider posters' feelings. That's why WFTD has been around for so long, and why we are so close in here. We happen to care for each other.

And if Bella doesn't understand that caring part, then I feel sorry for her.

That's not true. I fully realize that my appeal to hardcore lesbians is rather limited....
