From what I've been hearing, China doesn't want NK to have nukes. I would think that NK would listen to them even if not to the rest of the world.

True, but in the end I cannot believe North Korea is sufficiently stupid to pursue a course of action that will, in the best case, spell the end of his regime, and at the worse, quite literally, mean the obliteration of his country.
