Hehehehe, sound like my d AND gd, sheesh, two on me at one time.
Think I am going to watch Emeril tonight, watch him 'bam' a few dishes. Withdrawals from the war coverage is doing pretty good, waiting for Rick to show up and tell some of his stories.

Happy Easter Molly. Happy Easter All my ATWR friends. What a wonderful day this has been. Absolutely fantastic.
We fell out of bed at 0530 had a coffee jumped in the car and travelled out to the most beautiful spot for Sunrise Services. We got to the ranch (not ours) just before day began to break. Then the first rays of sun began to shine against some fluffy clouds with a contrail right through the middle of them. As john will be pulling a spatula through some frosting to form a design. The clouds began as kind of morning tuxedo gray then turned a nice clean white and the sun began to come through and the clouds turned a beautiful soft pink with the contrail pulling the clouds along. The service was beautiful, as we expected it to be.
After services we came home and began to prepare our Easter dinner to share with friends. No Bit, I didn't have my martini.....would you believe????????? Roomey forgot to pick up my gin......Bless his pointed head!! I've been 40 days without...guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow at 1700 hours. For forgetting MY gin, he's going to get cold leftovers tomorrow. Cold greasy gravy with cold mashed potatoes, doesn't that sound icky? Well....I was looking forward for that first taste of martini and watching the ice shavings float across the top of the glass. I do easilly forgive...right afer I get even.
With the exception of the aboce paragraph, today has truly been a blessed day, it has been perfect.

Wonderful description of your Sunrise Services. As a child, we attended an early service at a small rural Moravian Church where I was baptized. Times change, farms are consolidated, and the church eventually closed. The building is now on the National Register.

We, too, had a very nice day. Granddaughter, Maggie, was just the cutest! Couldn't stop staring at her in church. The little black patten leather shoes were just too precious. Dinner was very good, although, son did not care for the lamb. Oh well. Decided not to do the egg hunt this year because daughter-in-law is about to burst......She has two and a half weeks until the boys will be delivered. Praise Jesus......This has been a long haul, and everything looks good.
Loved your description of your church activity, Guennie! Your daughter and favorite sil are always in my prayers.
Special prayers for you this week, john.
Did Bit enjoy his visit, Neets?

Oh, no, till! I had a martini this afternoon and was thinking of you!
If it is any consolation, it didn't taste as good as I thought it would. Forty days without made me have to learn to like gin all over again. Maybe this is a message. LOL!

Oh, I'm glad I didn't see the NAG expousing her morals in public. It would have spoiled my day. But.....though he's accused of killing the little boys mother, the baby did come forth, so in my "uneducated opinion" Scott Peterson killed the boy too. AND the boy was FULL TERM. These women are the bottom of the trash barrel.

Enough lurking for now. Gotta be out the door by 6:15 tomorrow for my first day of orientation. It could be a long week.

Oh NO, Miss M...it didn't taste good? Oh me......well tomorrow, I'll let you know. My tastebuds were all standing up for that first sip.
Neets, you had one.......it was good?
IG, I love sunrise services. Speaking of Moravian, do you make Moravian bread and cakes? I have some of the best Moravian sweet bread, with coffee early in the morning..oh it is sooooo good, I dunk and slurp.

I'd like to end this Easter on here with one of my favorite paintings.

Thanks for the prayers. I need a miracle this week. I suppose this is a pretty good week to pray for one.
On another note.... I finished my paper on sourdough. I quoted from the Torah, Exodus 12:15. I quoted it in Hebrew, which is read from right to left..... Should the footnote mark be at the far left or the far right? All of the quotes from languages that read left to right are footnoted on the right. Overall in the document, the right side would be consistent. However, since the Hebrew quote is on it's own line and left justified????? There are days I hate having been a geek. ;>)
