"We're the only nation in the world where all our poor people are fat."

I was out of the country last year for a while touring France (please don't hit me).

The first thing I noticed when I returned to the States and landed in Boston were all the fat people. Young fat people, old fat people, tons and tons of fat people...

"We have every mixture you can have. I have a woman, two Jews, and a cripple."

I believe Watt actually said, "a black, a woman, two Jews, and a cripple."

Well, Marion, that might be the only law you haven't broken yet!
Most don't get to break it twice. <--(pick your own reference):-)

"We're the only nation in the world where all our poor people are fat."
--Phil Gramm (senator from Texas, 1985-)

Why is that stupid?

"The streets are safe in Philadelphia. It's only the people who make the unsafe."
--Frank Rizzo (mayor of Philadelphia, 1972-1980)

And why is that stupid? Anyway, Rizzo was Democrat as mayor.
