First of all, we did not choose it. It was handed down to us. IMO, it should be bumped up to like 23.

Sure you do. You call legally refuse to let them drive you car. YOu can legally refuse to let them live with you. You can disinherit them. Plenty you can do.

So if your child got a full scholarship elsewhere, or joined the military, you would disinherit them? And four years of college means that the child is now 22, what are you going to force them to stay past that point?
