You didn't have the root canal yet? I recall you talking about it a few weeks ago.

Years ago I had a back tooth that the doc said needed a root canal. I asked the price. All the work quoted .. about 1500.

I asked him how much to pull the tooth. He said 35.

I was a new mom, we were very broke & the tooth was not visible....

I told him to pull it. He gave me the arguments I recall hearing about moving teeth, ruining the bite etc. Most were mentioned on this thread. I think one of the posters is a dental specialist of some sort.

NONE of it happened. that was 25 years ago. I never missed it & it was a rear tooth . I am sorry but I have little faith in much medically.....

Long story, but I think one needs to do lots of research, know your own body well & made educated decisions.
