We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
ABU ABBAS, THE MASTERMIND OF THE ACHILLE LAURO HIJACKING, IS CAPTURED IN IRAQ
LARGE TERRORIST TRAINING FACILITY DISCOVERED JUST OUTSIDE BAGHDAD
Representatives from the United States, North Korea, and China will be meeting in China next week.
American forces shut down an illegal oil pipeline serving Syria.
President Bush and President Chirac spoke for the first time in two months yesterday; the conversation was described as "business-like."
The Palestinian Authority insists that Washington free Abu Abbas, saying it violates the Oslo Peace Accords, signed by UOx42.
Speaking of the former President, at a forum by Conference Board, he made the following remarks:
"We can't run. If you got an interdependent world, and you cannot kill, jail or occupy all your adversaries, sooner or later you have to make a deal."
And: He said he believed Washington overreacted to German and French opposition to US plans for military action against Iraq.
And, the topper(!): "Since September 11, it looks like we can't hold two guns at the same time. If you fight terrorism, you can't make America a better place to be."
I'm not making that stuff up, folks!
But unlike him...
We will not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

So, if we fight terrorism we can't improve the country? I guess then that means that 9/11 was the price we paid in order to have Midnight Basketball. I suppose X-42 thinks that a fair trade.
I wish there was an invisible ray I could use on him and on his minions.
AMERICAS WAR ON TERROR Day 583
The news as reported in The Washington Times:
[Note All links go to The Washington Times website.]
1. Abu Abbas Captured.
[Even though we havent found WMDs yet, it is pretty clear Iraq was a major player in the international terrorism game.]
Terrorist Abu Abbas caught in Iraq
2. American military forces closed off a pipeline delivering illegal oil to Syria.
[Yep, theres a new sheriff in town.]
Iraqi oil pipeline to Syria closed off
3. Same line, different country. Administration hawks are recycling the rhetoric used against Iraq to use against Syria.
[Fact is, there were five countries the terrorist belt: Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran, and Afghanistan that were the problem from the get go after September 11. Two of them have been dealt with.]
Hawks recycle arguments for Iraq war in case against Syria
4. Near Ur, representatives from around Iraq met to discuss forming a provisional government.
[Whats encouraging is how rapidly this all seems to be moving.]
Iraqi factions take first step to democracy
5. President Bush agrees to scale back his tax cut request by 25% in the hopes of getting it moving in Congress.
[Id rather he would have increased it by 25%. Oh well.]
6. The House GOP leadership is furious with the Senate GOP leadership over its tax cut bill that cut nearly 50% off of the Presidents request.
[They ought to be furious. Its time the Senate Republicans joined the Cause!]
GOP in House 'furious' over Senate budget deal
7. Kemper ends its sponsorship of the PGA tour event held in the Washington area at Avenel, citing fiscal problems.
[Unfortunate.]
Kemper ends sponsorship of PGA Tour event
We shall not rest until we have cut a swath 60-miles wide through the entire left - taking all that is before us with us as we go. We shall leave nothing to the enemy that may be of value to him. We shall show him that he may count on nothing and will be able to keep nothing, not his spirit, not his soul, not that upon which he shall feed. We shall not cease until the moment we have rent through their entire land and have arrived at the sea, with our glorious victory upon us.

Now you have the info, go support the United States of America!!!
I just don't know what he's thinking.
--He and his minions said fighting Iraq would deter us from fighting the war on terrorism. It's now pretty clear, particularly bagging Abbas, it was one and the same.
--He and his minions, OTOH, directly attack the war on terror, saying it detracts from improving life in America. If getting rid of terror doesn't improve life, I don't know what does!
Great news on the long-desired capture of Abbas.
Agree about the tax cut...scaling it back won't mollify the Dems...
An articulate wounded Marine Captain talking from Germany about his experiences....Excellent reporting on his activities, the professionalism of our soldiers...the positive response of the Iraqi people. This soldier is a hero, who stayed and fought despite being wounded...
