We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

CENTCOM: THE SADDAM HUSSEIN GOVERNMENT IS NOW AN "EX-REGIME".
The battle for Tikrit is fully engaged. Marines have entered the center of the city with "substantial force."
The seven rescued POWs said they were treated well while they were being held captive, though they did say they feared for their lives.
CENTCOM confirmed that 2 of the 55 "most wanted" of the former Iraqi regime are in custody. CENTCOM was deliberately ambiguous as to whether there were others in custody.
Blasts were heard throughout Al Kut as Marines exploded ordinance left behind by the Iraqi Army.
Cobra attack helicopters and F/A-18 fighters are providing close air support for the battle in Tikrit.
The last of the Rumeila oil fires has been extinguished.
And do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

The press at Centcom, I honestly believe they eat a can of 'dumbass' for breafast, El Dumbo questions asked.
I am getting ready to prepare for my trip to natchez and Vicksburg, been there lots of time but each visit you learn something new. In Washington MS there is Jefferson Military Academy (historical site now) and during the civil war the president of the school armed the cadets, grade school thru high school, and put them on a picket line to confront the yankees as they approched Natchez. When the yankees saw that they were just kids they did not kill them and some took their belts to the kids and sent them back into the school.
I even washed my car yesterday, you KNOW I am looking forward to the trip.
The war is about over, what a wonderful bunch of troops we have and, what a wonderful President we have. Makes you proud to the bone to know what we have leading this nation. IF he can do something with Arafat and Co. there will be more state funerals in Washington that can be counted, the democracts will be dropping like flie.
Prayers for all and I have to go now, kids ready to hit the road. Bye and have a good day.

Good Morning, Chair. CENTCOM briefing ongoing now. Reporter just asked "when will a new Iraqi currency be issued? Currency that doesn't have Suddam's picture on it"
And I'm thinking about the bogus currency created by Registered,,, the stuff with GWB's photo on it.
I'll be back on the road in a few hours. Hope everyone has a good week!

Yeah well, LOL, I bet you weren't born in Atlanta and have relatives there who settled over a hundred years ago.
It's just not Southern...to have lived, schooled and worked there and NOT seen Gone With The Wind..:))

For instance, when I was just a young impressionable girl, I saw GWTW for the FIRST time.....
..and many times inbetween....
...read the book...(when I was 12)...
..and when I was dating my future husband, (who was going to college in Atlanta)...he took me to the Lowe's Grande.. for the anniversary showing of the movie.
When I worked in Atlanta, I often passed by Aunt Pittypat's Porch AND ate barbecue at Mammy's Shanty)
I AM Scarlett O'Hara, LOL!...(actually more like Melanie!)

Well, now that I live in the South (3 hours from Atlanta), perhaps it's time for me to see it or read the book.

We shall not rest until we have cut a swath 60-miles wide through the entire left - taking all that is before us with us as we go. We shall leave nothing to the enemy that may be of value to him. We shall show him that he may count on nothing and will be able to keep nothing, not his spirit, not his soul, not that upon which he shall feed. We shall not cease until the moment we have rent through their entire land and have arrived at the sea, with our glorious victory upon us.
