I'm teaching a class in rhetoric and would like to have my students get ahold of Condoleeza Rice's appeal to the French people regarding Iraq. I think they'd get a lot out of analyzing it, but I've done a couple of searches (whitehouse.gov and google and various news sites) and can't find the text.
Can you help me out with a link?
Thanks.

I don't know where you can get it, but I wanted to bump your post in case somebody else knows.
I don't recall what paper it was in, but if you know that, it might be available on their website tomorrow.

Here's some info about Rice's piece.
I assume the piece itself is in French.

"All the current Condoleezza Rice news." -- If you check this website her speeches, articles, etc. should post sooner or later.

Thank you all. I figure it will surface sooner or later. I just thought I'd try this route, because this is the first time I'd never been able to locate something of this nature on the web. I only have about a week to bring it to my students' attention. After that, it'll be too late.
FRegards.

I've poked around the web and can't find it...it may be up tomorrow. Thanks for the shout on the other thread but it was pulled as a duplicate so I couldn't respond there.

Yeah, that kind of ticked me off that that thread was pulled. The other one was really lame! We had a nice start on a meaningful analysis of the situation. The people on the other thread were just goofing off.
As it turned out, though, no info.'s been released on the 11 bodies, so our thread would've died a slow death anyway. Regarding the 11 bodies, if one does the math, it doesn't look good . . .
(12 person convoy fell into enemy hands. 1 POW extracted with multiple wounds; 11 bodies found.) Lord have mercy . . .
