Thanks for your tutoring and comments, especially the following:

Those 500 or so embedded journalists currently on the front lines with our fellow Americans and our Allies are (imho) the beginning of the end for the leftist, anti-American media.

This is one of the legs of our culture which MUST be remade. You have identified the opportunity this war affords for doing so. I believe we living through a momentous time in the history of our country, one as fraught with both potential and disaster as the Civil War era. President Bush will shape the future as few presidents have. Nothing short of Providence (which gave us Lincoln in his time) has made this possible.

I agree. It is also interesting that many of the journalists (with Fox, at least) had SOME military training. This is key, and many of the journalists back in the studios are just morons who have no clue what it is like to fight a real war.

I'll be honest--I was 4F in Vietnam! But I KNOW I don't know how to "fight a real war," and that's the difference!

hi (Coastie...)Sis...

sorry for the lo-o-o-ooong delay in response. I've been in the middle of a move, which went quick, but the cable guy for my online access didn't come until two weeks after. I've been back online for about 5 days now, catching up with emails, freeps, etc.

Ck out this post:

it's an incredibly awesome piece from one of the embeds - looks like our expectations from these journalists are coming true. More important, it also captures the essence of brotherhood and compassion that our brothers'n'sisters - when I read it, I was so moved; humble and proud all at the same time, and thankful to God that our Nation is blessed with sons and daughters such as these.

Take care, till next time...
