Since I am new let me tell you a little about myself. My name is Chase I am 31 years old with a wife and three children. When I was younger and more neive the world just kinda passes by with out you paying much attention. So I am useing this as an example of how I woke one day and realized everything was backwards. My wife is Hispanic and I am white. As I stated before we have three childern. The day I woke up was when I was enrolling my child into school.AS always there are a million forms to fill out. Asking the same questions you would expect. Name, place of birth, Father's name Mothers name then it hit me.... Race.Black white Asian Hiapanic (nonwhite). Now why would they ask a question like that? Just because my son has white blood in him some day down the road he will be passed up for a schollarship? Reverse Discrimination.Even the way they worded it (nonwhite) makes it hard for it to be denied. So what did I do? I put my son down as FULL BLOODED HISPANIC Buhahahahaha. I work hard in a job with no 401k, or anything of the like. I live paycheck to paycheck and I will be a monkey's uncle if my son gets passed up for a scholarship on some technocality. Working the system to my advantage to get back what I put in. Am I wrong for doing this? Your comments please .

If you raise your children with respect for character above race considerations you will be following what MLK said about having a dream of people not judged on the color of their skin. Try to teach them that too.

Your strategy of categorizing your children as hispanic for those silly questions on forms is a good one.

You could also have your children, perhaps when they are older, to use your wife's maiden name appended to their full name as is customary in Spanish speaking countries. This is the Spanish tradion: the fathers surname is where the middle name usually goes and the mother's maiden name is last. This gives the appearance to these moronic liberals that your children are indeed fully Spanish. Otherwise, you take the risk that, for example, if your last name is Smith, someone at the admissions office could notice this and decide your children are too "white" to be admitted.

Your son would not get passed up based on a technicality. He would be passed up based on racism.
