One of my hobbies is writing spoof poetry and songs. I wrote this limerick today for a friend of mine who has family in the Air Force currently fighting in Iraq.
It could be a lot of fun to write spoof poems, limericks, haiku, whatever... I know there are a lot of creative people here! So here goes:
There once was an actress named Susan, Whose opinions were truly confusin'. Her ideas she did spew, Angering most people too. It's no surprise her next movie'll be "Losin'."

Thank you. I'm afraid the beat was off a bit, but couldn't resist.
When Saddam had a chance to say
"We captured the enemy today!"
He instead praised to the sun
The surrendered 51
And gave his pre-recording away.
Last one, I promise.

Hey, I'm a big fan of a lively limerick, for sure. I will see if I can come up with one too, or three.

There was a foul stain name of Moore
Who puked-up for peace during war
To profit his fee
He wrote 'Stupid White Me'
Then left the U.S. for Qatar
I WISH!
