In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....
tetchy\TECH-ee\, adjective:
Peevish; testy; irritable.
Etymology: Tetchy probably comes from Middle English tecche, "a bad habit," from Old French tache, teche, "a spot, stain, blemish, habit, vice."

I wish I was able to start seeds right now - but with time being so short for getting out of here - I just can't take on aother project at the moment.

Basically, while on tour (sponsored by Lipton!) in Europe, they announced to the crowd that they were ashamed that the President is from Texas...... and downed his pro-War feelings.............
I'm a fan, or was...... I just bought a CD last night...damn it.............. I plan to contact my local station in Philly and tell them I will change the station each time they play a Dixie Chicks song......... and I'll also contact Lipton..............

"(Local) I'm feeling testchy today since we have our second exam in the Physics class on Relatavity on Monday. Vectors, Lorentz transforms, 4-vector matrices and tensors, transformed magnetic and electricl fields at .9c, etc. Messy stuff. The varients and covarients (and their inverses) are tricky though"
How come you always get to have all the fun?

It's pretty rare for country artists to act the way the Dizzie Chicks did, but I guess the new generation of country singers represent a new breed.
I've got one of their albums.......I can't wait until the skeet range opens.

It shows a lack of maturity..... they are in England and just going with the anti-war feeling there....... makes you kind of wonder how they would react if playing in Palestine, or to a bunch of KKKer's...... do they actually think before speaking?
To: WhyisaTexasgirlinPA
Do they think they have enough cross-over rock interest to offset the country fans that will abandon them? if so, i think they are in for a big surprise.
