I was watching the 2003 Consumer Electronics Show on HGTV the other night, and they showed a new camcorder made by Sony that recorded directly to a dvd disc. How cool is that?

Extremely cool. I prefer DV tape and then a burn to DVD, as editting is easier and layering in audio is a lot easier.
