Actors and Artists Supporting Bush?
Posted on 02/11/2003 2:09:37 PM PST by Jason_Oly
I have been spending some time today trying to find a list or any mention of actors, artists, musicians or other folks in the entertainment industry who support President Bush and support our efforts in Iraq. I would like to support these folks by watching their movies, buying their books, buying their CD's. Maybe this has been addressed in this forum already, if so, a pointer or two would be great. Any help would be appreciated!!
TOPICS: Miscellaneous; TV/Movies
KEYWORDS: actors; actress; entertainment; hollywood; supportbush; supportwariniraq

Thanks for the link to that! I dug around some and did some searches, but didn't come up with anything. This is exactly what I was hoping to find!

Here's one actor that was a pleseant surprise with his support for the president:
Dean Cain was on Fox & Friends a couple of months ago and stated he was a big supporter of president Bush.

A guest on Hannity today (foreget his name) made mention that Brad Pitt was asked what he thought about hte war in Iraq. Evidently, Pitt made some answer to the likes of "I'm an actor, what do I know about that?". Now, I do not know if those were Pitt's words or not, but if so, I can deal with that. Anyone know anythign about this?

Evidently, Pitt made some answer to the likes of "I'm an actor, what do I know about that?". Excellent answer. Evidently, only wariors must be allowed to think about war. Actors should thing about acting, cooks about cooking, thievs about stealing and dogs about barking. But the active military aren't supposed to express their views on war either. Their duty is to MAKE war, not talk about it. So... y'all 'consumers' out there, just shut up and do your shopping.

You could add in Rupert Murdoch. He's not an entertainer himself, per se. However, he is an big entertainment and news figure! He came out supporting both Tony Blair, and George Bush! He said that G.Bush was making a moral and responsible decision, and he supported it! He also said that T.Blair was making a courageous decision, even in the face of opposition in his own party(which he is). I couldn't believe it!
He also said he believed it would be an economic boom for the world. And, get this: he also said that oil will be much more inexpensive, and that will be a benefit! That's something coming from a figure such as him. Sounds good after the slogan coming from other 'entertainment' figures!("No blood for oil!)
One more positive thing for Bush: He said that he was optimistic that G.Bush will be elected again, if the war in Iraq goes all right, and economics improve! This isn't exact quote, but paraphrazing it.
I read this earlier on Lucianne.com. I went over there for awhile today, because for some reason, FreeRepublic was down, at least on my computer. It came back up later, so I came back here. But I can't remember where the article came from!
