I hope I am not posting this twice. But I am listening to Mike Savage, and he is wondering whether Scott Ritter was set up.

What does everyone think about that theory?

I think that the reason Scott Ritter has been saying the things that he has been saying is that Iraqi agents told him that much more than the arrest would come out if he didn't support the Iraqi cause. Maybe he indulged in some interesting proclivities with Iraqi supplied "swallows" while working for the UN last time.

When I first heard the story, I thought he was set up.

Then I heard he was picked up twice: Once for a 14 year old girl, then for a 16 year old.

Now, most pedophiles in chat rooms don't get caught. If Ritter was caught twice, I suspect he's done it quite a few times and not been caught. So there might be reports in the near future from previous teens who he seduced or tried to seduce...if the Albany paper is good at digging, they will find other victims.

Either he's done a lot of this, or else "someone" heard he was into kinky sex with kids, and decided to catch him at it to destroy him politically by setting up a sting.

FYI: This type of thing is alas too common. I've treated one girl raped by this type of predator...since she was over 16, so far the guy has gotten away with it, but the cops are keeping an eye on him.

You know, I wouldn't discount the possibility, then again if it's true, it's his fault for being stupid enough to fall for the entrapment.
